POWERSOK® HVDC & HVAC male cable connector family

The name POWERSOK® stands for the new Amphenol-Tuchel Automotive high-voltage connector systems for AC and DC applications. The product family is available in the HV power classes 2, 3, 4 and 5, the connector housings with cable outlet in 90° and 180° offer customers a comprehensive choice for a wide variety of applications.

The RADSOK® R8S round contact system, proven over many years, ensures efficient and reliable power transmission. The RADSOK® contact offers very high power density and enables the design of the HV connectors. The POWERSOK® product family is the benchmark in installation space and compactness, and  the necessary robustness at the same time. Vibration class V2, protection class to IP6K9K and contact protection to IPxxB are standard.

Following a modular design approach, the POWERSOK® products can be supplied as shielded and unshielded systems, with or without HVIL signal contact, with CPA and in several codings.

The terminals are designed for ultrasonic welding process of copper and aluminum cables. For our customers, the POWERSOK® high-voltage connector systems offer enormous potential for automated assembly processes.
